Thym Homework Desk. Prototype

Thym is a homework desk built in oak, assembled using antique japanese joinery tecniques and without the need of any screw. I addressed problems that commonly arise in a work area with a great formal simplicity. The aim was to increase functionality, while minimizing the number of elements.

The key piece is the storage unit that slides onto the board. This allows it to be placed and moved anywhere, helping to keep an organized space by storing excess cables and small objects. It can also be used to neatly keep books on the table.
